I installed a new portal 7.4x, and when i run the mopz, it doesn't give me an option for ESS or MSS. I can get to the components in SAP, and have found the 631 version, but is there a way to get MOPZ to pick it up.

Ess wda: updating Iban for insert/copy/modify in bank detail screen for germany
Hi,
We are using standard detail screen HRESS_CC_PER_DTL_BANK_DE for Germany, We have observed that even if the user changes/updates/creates the new record without filling Iban field system will not throw any error which is correct as per V_T588MFPROPC as we have not made it mandatory. but we have an option to populate Iban using specific button in PA30, can we have the same functionality in ESS? Can we implement HRPAD00INFTYDB for this purpose? Is there any other option for this functionality?

Passing PERNR to application HRESS_AC_PERSINFO
Hi Folks,
There is a personal data card in MyInfo expanded lane in HR Renewal. There is a link at the bottom for 'Details' which calls the application HRESS_AC_PERSINFO. I wanted to know how the PERNR gets passed to this application. Does it make use of SY-UNAME to determine the pernr or any other way. I do not see the use of memory ID PERNR_MEM_ID as the value is null if you observe the URL:
Also, if we can make use of SY-UNAME to determine the pernr, why PERNR_MEM_ID is used in various application (For MSS applications I can understand).

Error in Record working time in ESS portal.
Dear SAP Experts,
When i'm entering OT hours in ESS Record working screen we are getting below error.
Unit STD does not exist
The entered value STD is not formatted correctly
When we are entering data through CATS2 - ESS profile it's are getting saved.

Change Look & Feel using NWBC HTML
Hi.
Is posible modiy the Look & Feel for change the logo, letter, colors, and the navegation using NWBC ?
All I found is the configuration table "NWBC_CFG", but here I can only place customer logo in the detailed navigation bar on the left side as well as change the title in the NWBC HTML header.
My Question is:
How can I change the general look and feel of NWBC html (header, top-level navigation as well as detailed navigation) ?
I found this response in other post:
"as far as I remember replacing a NWBC "theme" with a customer created one is not possible without creating enhancements and modifications, as all the colors and pictures are defined in a single ABAP class."
However I want know What is the ABAP class ?

Travel Attachments not getting displayed in MSS
We are using ECC6.0 EHP7 with ESS/MSS in NWBC.
During creation of Travel Expense, the employee is able to attach the documents, but the manager is unable to receive it.
As we are having 2 level of approvals, we customized the workflow and when we are getting the workitem in Managers ID, it will be like this when manager click on the workitem,
What we need to do so that manager can view the attachments sent by the employees..??

Enable Comment field in Travel request through ESS
Hi ,
I am on EHP6 and using EP 7.4 for ESS services.
Webdynpro application used is -FITE_REQUEST
I am not able to see comment field in this service . Although Trip Tcode in backend has same field . I have to enable the same but did not find out any thing in schema to control field value.
Any help.

OrgChart missing from MSS Home
Hi,
We have installed add-on EMBORGCH 605 according to the note 1485853 and activated NAKISA_ORGCHART service too. But the orgchart is not visible from the MSS Home Page from the portal. I have tried testing the demo service hier_vis_demo, but it gives me the error message: The ASSERT condition was violated.
Please let me know what am I missing here.

SAP ESS ABAP Service links not working

I am setting up SAP ESS EHP5 with EP 7.3. The overview page is working but nothing happens when clicking on the service links, and this info message is generated for each click:

The permission for root folder and system connection includes Everyone with end user right.

EHP6 POWL Leave Approval Always go to First Request
I am using POWL application MANAGER_MSS_INBOX_2 for Leave Request Approval in the Portal. When the user selects the Leave Request in POWL, the Leave Approval application opens successfully, but the top request in the POWL list is always displayed, not the request selected from the list. However, if I test in NWBC, the correct leave request is displayed in the detail of the leave request application. So, this seems to be a problem with OBN on the portal.
We are at EA-HR 606 0037 and SAP_BASIS 731 0012 on the ECC side and Portal version ep 7.31.201404102021. I have applied Notes 2005215 - POWL: Navigation issues in powl collector, and 1946640 - POWL : Incorrect leave approval record selected.
I am using the standard feeder class, POWL type, and WF task for Leave Approval. I have configured the action for OBN.
OBJECTVALUE = REQUEST_ID=${item.REQUEST_ID}&WI_ID=${item.externalId}
Launchpad MSS NAV parameters are mapped.
PFCG role has OBN.
The BO target is mapped to the iView in the Role. The target iView is in the same role as POWL application iView/OBN source.
iView Application Parameters.
(If I remove the LRF_ARQ_MODE=A, the application is started in mode R to create a leave request.)
I have debugged and in IF_WD_PORTAL_INTEGRATION~NAVIGATE_TO_OBJECT the correct request_ID is being passed in the OBN event from the POWL action handler to the portal. But it does not reach the standard FPM feeder class for the Leave Approval.
Is there a mistake in my Portal OBN config? Am I missing a Note that needs to be applied?

Hierarchy view missing post EA Hr component upgrade from 20 - 28

ESS WDA on WDA EhP5-- javascript:void(0); error in IE 6.0
Hi
I am configuring ESS 1.5 (ESS WDA) on EP 7.01 with Back end SAP ECC 6.0 EHP 5 including SAP_HR 604 and EA_HR 605 components installed. In EP I have installed BRERPESSWDA 1.50 as well.
When ever I click on any link I am getting javascript:void(0); in the status bar for IE.
I could launch the 'Overview' vie which lists down all the standard services. When i clicked on 'Personal Information', I am routed to a next screen that list down all corresponding services (Personal profile, Personal file...). However, when I click on the 'personal profile' link, nothing happens (there is a message at the bottom of the window = javascript:void(0);). How do I launch/activate this service? I've checked ESS Launchpad under LPD_CUST but could not find the missing link.
I tried in other IE browsers 6.0 and 7.0 versions as well, Tried chaning the script setting under secuirty tab,,etc. Also I have assigned the below roles in backed SAP ECC EHP 5 system

Leave Approval Notification
Hi Experts,
i have a requirement in which i have to change the E-Mail notification addresses as per the employee Personal Area once the leave is approved.
Once the leave is approved the notification should be sent to respective HR Teams .
As example: for personal area INM3- notification should go to hr@*com
for Personal Area INM4 - notification should go to hr12@*com
I tried looking at table V_T554S_WEB but there is no options there for Email notification.
Can you all experts please help?

Search Lane- disable link in Search Result List
We have a requirement where in the HR Renewal Landing Page --> Search Lane, if we search an employee the result list is displayed. But the name of the employee shouldn't be hyperlink to Employee Profile application.
We want to restrict the users to not see the detailed information of the employees.
We have maintained the required configuration for the same.

Search Option Employee hyperlink to be deactivated.

It is still leading to the hyperlink of the result list.

SAP Leave Request Team Calendar error
We upgraded to EHP7 from EHP5.
When we launch leave request screen in approval mode in POWL and try to view Team Calendar, we are getting error message "No team setup for user, Please contact administratior". This is working perfectly fine for same user in EHP5. We found a related old note 1501310 which talks about same issue but not applicable to us.
But if user clicks Select Team Member's button and select all employees, he is able to view team calendar. By default, we would like to display all team members when the user clicks Team Calendar tab.

Employee search in MSS has an issue
Hi,
I' am logging into SAP Portal through a id who is a manager as per the configuration done in ECC and access Personnel change request iview under which I have 2 views 1) Employee search and 2) Direct reports.
When I select Direct reports am able to get the list of employees who reports to the manager but when I go to Employee search option and try to search through personnel number or last-name or first-name (of any employee who is displayed under direct reports) it is giving the message as no data found.
Can anyone help me in getting this resolved.
