We are on EHP7. On MSS Home Page, we don't see detailed button under Team for each employee. That has links for Employee Profile, Talent profile etc.
We are using MSS role: SAP_MANAGER_MSS_NWBC_3.

Hi all,
I have configured my system according to the document Manager Self-Service (MSS) - MSS team view, managers who do not hold chief position prepared by Mohsin Syed .
In MSS-> Team -> Employee information I am getting the direct employees even the manager is not chief.
But my problem is same manager cannot see the direct reportes in other places say : attendance overview , employee course assignments-> manage participants etc..
see the screenshots : In the same page, no direct reporting employee for attendance over view , but there is for Team calendar.
For the same manager, if he try to book for training, there is no direct reportees.
What I have missed ..please guide me what to do..

JAVA webdynpro applications are attached on portal for Personal Information, Whenever employee changes his personal Information like personal details, address , Family details after pressing 'SAVE' button I want to display custom message.
I have gone through this post Personal data changes in ESS portal
1) Class CL_HRESS_PER_DETAIL is not triggering.
2) BADI HRPAD00INFTYBL is triggering on 'REVIEW' button only & it is only showing error message , I want to show successful message.
3) BADI HRPAD00INFTYDB is triggering on 'SAVE' button but method IF_EX_HRPAD00INFTYDB~UPDATE_DB don't have any message handling parameter.
I tried with class cl_hrpa_message_list in UPDATE_DB method its not showing any message.
Please Help.

Is posible modiy the Look & Feel for change the logo, letter, colors, and the navegation using NWBC ?
All I found is the configuration table "NWBC_CFG", but here I can only place customer logo in the detailed navigation bar on the left side as well as change the title in the NWBC HTML header.
My Question is:
How can I change the general look and feel of NWBC html (header, top-level navigation as well as detailed navigation) ?
I found this response in other post:
"as far as I remember replacing a NWBC "theme" with a customer created one is not possible without creating enhancements and modifications, as all the colors and pictures are defined in a single ABAP class."
However I want know What is the ABAP class ?

I have one basic question here..
We have ESS all working fine but totally mess up in Bank Information part.
Employee has no option for deleting any bank information through portal... at least for other bank info he cant take out any account.
Only for communication infotype update we have thrash/delete button.
Can someone please let me know if I'm missing any config for activating thrash/delete button for Bank Information.
I have a WDA iview for Personal file working perfectly in DEV system (displays the data). The transports have been correct to QA. The same iView do not display data in QA system. It further asks for 'Select an Employee'. Screen shot attached aboveI have checked for iview properties in QA system, and find no difference between the DEV iView and QA iView. I have checked with the Security team for roles assignment and they say there is no change.
Looking for suggestions to rectify this in QA portal.

Now we have ESS in EHP5, but for WebDynpro ABAP same Services in the SICF are not available after install. So we must activated manually.
So we have the Launchpad but some Icons are missing - have a look:
This are the Services we already use:
This (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-30218) is a good document but i cann't find any Services witch must be activated.

How do I display the leave balances of a Leave type that has two active valid periods for the same leave type? Vacation leave is valid for two years so I want to display the validity dates for Vacation leave for last years cycle, with the leave balance for that cycle on one line as well as the validity dates for Vacation leave for the current cycle, with the leave balance on another line.
Currently it adds up the balances of both active cycles for vacation leave and displays the balance, but does not show the validity dates of the leave balance.

Hi all,
our employees are using POWL for accessing notifications.
notifications are visible, but we see the button "Blind Copy" instead of "Delete" button.
but when we click on Blind Copy, the notification is getting deleted.
how can we enable/ configure Delete button, in POWL screen.

I'm configurating a NWBC ESS/MSS system which is in EHP7.
For the manager, i'd like to remove some active queries which are not necessary for the client needs.
I customized the MSS INBOX 2 in POWL_QUERYR transaction to inactive queries i didn't want.
My problem is the following :
- the data aren't retrieved for one manager which has SAP_ALL authorisation
- but the custo is correct for another manager which has the same role and authorisation except that the 2nd has a developper key...
So this is obviously an authorisation problem but which one.
I compared authorisations with HRAUTH transaction and compare the 2 users without success... They are identical.
Do you have any idea?
What authorisation should I check?

I'm facing an issue which makes me crazy since almost 2 weeks.
I've customized correctly (I guess) my MSS Homepage to display my team but i don't have the "On behalf" activities which should normally be displayed by default.
I removed my custo to have the initial launchpad in LPD_CUST but i never had those activities.
I tried with the standard SAP MSS role but i still have the problem.
In a previous project, those activities were displayed correctly without any customizing.
Could it come from a BASIS wrong custo? Service in SICF not activated?

I can see details of employee. How to hide additional information like salary data , compensation information, apprisal which is part of standard delivery.

With regards to EHP7 update, I am seeking your attention and assistance on another query as below:
we are at EHP3 and looking forward to go to EHP7 , only technical upgrade - we are not going to activate buisness function.
As I explored and found that there are huge change and new features in EHP4 in E modules, like E-rec, talent management, ESS MSS - I woould like to know is there any impact on existing application running on ESS/MSS with news features come up with EHP4, EHP5, EHP6,EHP7 even if we DONT activate buisness function.
Lets take an example, we have self service on behalf of application on MSS as of now on EHP3, it will be there in EHP 7 as well but will there be any impact on the funcationality or features if we are not activating buisness function?? Same ways, we have so many new features in EHP 7 for E-rec, LSO, but will they exist if we do not active buisness function.
Seeking your expert inputs on this.

I designed a form in FPM form type for special payment scenario where it will send an email to HR admin for an approval whenever line manager send a request for his employee. The email is sending correctly to HR Admin Inbox but when the HR Admin open the form it is blank.
I've updated UWL configuration to include both TS33700021, TS3370022 standard task after maintaining required settings in SWFVISU t.code
Could anyone help to the resolve the issue by showing up the form when HR Admin click on workitem in Inbox

We like to add absence approval to MSS Approvals Line.
We are not using workflow for leave approval (scenario: employee request, manager approve, standard system supports) therefore in classic ess-mss we use IBO_WDA_INBOX configuration HRMSS_AC_POWL_INBOX_2. Managers are able to approve the absence request. I added this webdynpro to lauchpad "my_team" so managers can open the POWL application and approve or reject the request.
I added make the customizing for TS2150003 to BSP standard. I am able to show any task coming from workflow system to this approval line now. But not our absence since its not WF based.
There are 2 cases now:
1* I add /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/hrmss_lr_appr_g/index.html to myteam services , if there is any absence request, it opens one of them and approval can be given via new ui5 interface, but there is no overview screen !
2* The IBO_WDA_INBOX, POWL solution lists all absence requests, manager can approve or reject from the list without see the detail ! When you click the absence system does not show the detail (nor ui5 nor webdynpro)
Any advices? We are on HR Renewal 2.0.
