I am working on NWBC client UI5 application. When I open employee profile from the landing page its showing a blank screen. We have checked all the OData services but no use. Please suggest if any one has a solution.

Hello experts, again, so much questions from my side lately 
I have another question, regarding ESS standard functionality, and the scenario is the following:
- Employee request a leave, 1 day, the number of hours is set to 7.75.
- Manager rejects the leave -> FM PT_ARQ_REQUEST_CHECK sets the request attabs_hours to 0.
Then when the EE check in leave overview, he sees that the number of hours is 0.
My question is, is this the normal behaviour?

Hello Experts,
We have set up HR renewal FP 4.0 for our HCM system. We have upgraded to EA-HR SP19 and have also applied the notes mentioned in note 1701634. However i am facing an issue when i try to execute the Workforce viewer through any of the roles ESS, MSS or HR administrator.I have activated all the necessary business functions, odata services as suggested in the help document. However when i click on the workforce viewer icon it keeps loading the page for hours without giving an output for the same. I tried to check the system logs in slg1 and found an error
'No entry found for object 07000003'. where 07000003 is an employee which has been recently created and does exist in the system.
This error pops up for any other employee or org unit with a different number every time.
Could you please help me getting the issue resolved or guide me to the correct applications using which i can debug and identify the problem.

I'm facing a problem in MSS where system is not translating the Texts Automatically. I've already Translated the texts in R/3. But still system is not showing in Portal.
Do we need to apply any notes, I'm in EHP5 using EA_HR MSS Add-on 1.0, Kindly let me know what else can be done... Few fields are getting translated by default but the texts under Collective Approval need to be changed also.

We are using EHP 5 - Java - Record Working Time (CAT2) via the portal and users are starting to complain about some of the tool tip messages. We've explained that they are informational and not stopping them from entering their time. However, it may be simpler to hide the messages.

The only reference I could find online was CATS calendar: Technical Information (SAP Library - CATS calendar which referrers to a program RCATSCMP. I can't think of a way that a variant there would stop a tooltip message, but thought I'd ask to see what options are available.

We are using HR Renewals Feature Pack 4 on EHP6.
For MSS we are using the WDA application HRMSS_A_CATS_APPROVAL_1 (Approve Individual Timesheets). things are working fine as long as there are no substitutions active. However, the application is not showing the timesheets of the other managers' team members when substitution is active.
For example, Manager M1 has nominated another manager M2 as substitute. When an employee from M1's team submits timehssets M1 is able to view the timesheet using HRMSS_A_CATS_APPROVAL_1 WDA aplication but manager M2 is not able to view it even though the substitution is active.
This problem is occuring only for timesheets. Other features like leave and expenses are vailable M2 when ever there is substitution is active.
I am not able to undestand this behavour at all. Is there any special report that we need to run for timesheet approvals inorder for timeshets to be visible tothe substitue manager?

1. Activated the new switches
HCM_ESS_UI5_1
HCM_MSS_UI5_1
2. the new PFCG roles are assigned to tbe test user
SAP_MANAGER_MSS_CR_UI5_1
SAP_EMPLOYEE_ESS_UI5_1
SAP_PAO_HRPROFESSIONAL_3
3. Activated the necessary ODATA services
4. Activated SICF services under opu
But when i try to use the hr prefessonal function and any other function related to SAP UI5, it doesn't work and the error is very sample as attachment.
I have ever configurate the function when the version is fp3 and it woked at that time?

We have created a custom process for New Hire form. This form contains few fields of IT0002 like Last name, First name , DOB and SSN as mandatory fields. If the user fills the entire form on portal and leave the last name field as blank, then the system throws error as "No Data Available for A XXXXXXXX 0002" and "Last Name - Fill in all required fields". After the data is being updated in this field then the "Previous" "Next" "Close" and "Save Draft" button all of them become non-responsive. Due to this , we are stuck at the initial step of the process and cannot proceed further.

We are on EHP7 and using NWBC for ESS/MSS. We have implemented BADI GET MULTIPLE APPROVERS to have multiple approver available for certain leave types.
We have assigned Workflow Task 33700137 in table V_T554S_WEB.
When we execute the leave request, for certain leave type, it displays Processor, Processor 1 and Process 2.
Processor and Processor 1 is the same person = First Line Manager. Reading correctly Processor 2 from custom table.
It sends leave request correctly to the Processor. Once it's approved by the Processor, work Item doesn't disappear from the Work Overview of the processor. And in SWI1, we can see it's showing the processor again as Next Agent. It should show Processor 2 as Next Agent.
First Question, Does it always show processor and processor 1 as the same for multi level approval?
Second Question, Is there any way we can skip processor field and only have processor 1 and processor 2 for approval?
Appreciate any feedback to resolve this issue.

I notice that component HRESS_CC_PER_DTL_FAMILY_XX is configured in HRESS_CC_PER_OVP.
when i log in to portal as US employee i assuem dynamically FPM calling HRESS_CC_PER_DTL_FAMILY_US to display family data on ESS overview.
does the connectivity between HRESS_CC_PER_DTL_FAMILY_XX and HRESS_CC_PER_DTL_FAMILY_US is configured in HRESS_CC_PER_CONFIG?????
our requirement is to add telephone number for IT0021 and sub type 6(Emergency contact) just under title on ESS overview as shown below.
please help me on this.
Also, when i logon to portal as US employee then very limited fields are getting didsplayed on ESS overview-family details which shown in screen shot above but when i check the the componet HRESS_CC_PER_DTL_FAMILY_US is having so many fields configured at the back end. please help me understanding this.

I am testing an ESS web dynpro for abap application (Tax form reprint HRESS_A_REP_CA_TFR) and the 'collapse/expand' icon before 'Overview and Selection' is not showing. I am wondering if I have missed activating some SICF services. Any suggestions gurus?

We are starting to customize our ESS Menu in LPD_CUST, we have read and have been warned about the quirky nature of LPD_CUST and the text translations.
We created our own custom menu, in our own Znamespace and copied from the standard launchpad, it looked correct. Upon saving we were prompted for both a customizing and a workbench request. This all seemed correct, but after leaving the transaction and coming back in we see the following:

We have a requirement to include Saturday & Sunday (Week end) under privilege leave. Means if some one takes leave from Friday to Monday, he'll be absent for four days instead of two. Currently system is allowing two days leave i.e. Friday & Monday.
Kindly suggest how can we configure this in SAP.

when I click the open Detailed Team View , a pop up will open with all the sub ordinates.
On clicking on one of its employeess, on the right hand side it will show all the details. In the right hand side , Compensation details are missing.
Please let me know , how can I show compensation details as well

I am working on sap 7.3 EP,We had the requiremnet to hide few launchpad task that is done with the help of customization of the ESS Launchpad using this link (http://scn.sap.com/community/erp/hcm/blog/2012/03/29/launch-pad-customization-in-sap-essan-overview)
Now when i log on to portal and see no services specific to a perticular task are visible.
For example is i click on Working Time no services related to that is visible.

Can we restrict access of process list to certain category for an employee under ESS - My Process - Status Overview?
Ex: if two processes are initiated for an employee like
1) Salary change initiated by manager.
2) Birth of child initiated by HR admin.
Our requirement is that an employee should have an access to track status of 2nd process only(Birth of child).
salary change process status should be visible to employee under ESS- process status over view until the process is completed.
